Not surprisingly, one of the downsides of living in Arizona is the summers can be unbearably hot. It can also pose a challenge for photographers, since no one wants to stand around outside in nice clothes and makeup when it’s 105 degrees outside. And of course, I refuse to take a pregnant woman out in that kind of heat for maternity photos. So, for this maternity session – which took place in July – we headed up into the mountains where it was at least 20 degrees cooler. It was so refreshing for both of us!
This session was featured on The Fount Collective, which is a lovely new blog devoted to fine art motherhood portraiture. I love this blog. Its style and mission fit in perfectly with my own style, so I was so excited to be featured.
