Fairmont Grand Del Mar Wedding

Cavin and David’s Fairmont Grand Del Mar wedding in San Diego was an absolute dream! We had an all-star vendor team to bring this vibrant, colorful wedding to life at an absolutely gorgeous venue. Cavin is a talented wedding photographer in San Diego, and after their engagement session I knew she and David would dream up something incredible! Cavin’s Marchesa gown was truly a work of art with layers of blue tulle and colorful embroidery. The colorful bouquet created by Compass Floral was a perfect extension of Cavin’s gown – the colors matched perfectly!!
The thing I loved most about Cavin and David’s Fairmont Grand Del Mar wedding is that they wanted it to be a true reflection of themselves and their relationship. They did not want a public ceremony, so they opted to exchange vows privately and celebrate later with their closest friends and family.
Heather at Amorology designed the most jaw-dropping reception with lush florals, velvet linens and citrus accents. Smoothies were a big part of Cavin and David’s early dating story. Cavin feigned an interest in smoothies after seeing a note on David’s online dating profile, so Amorology created a smoothie-themed escort display complete with fruit and blenders. Jamba Juice was on hand to create custom smoothies, and the entire reception was just too beautiful to be believed!
Being a wedding photographer, Cavin made sure to leave lots of time in the timeline for bride and groom portraits. We shot all over the grounds of the Fairmont Grand Del Mar! Afterwards, the bride and groom danced the night away under the pavilion.
