Charleston Engagement Session

Danielle and Yannic are getting married at The Swan House in Atlanta next year, but they wanted to escape the city for their engagement session. We settled on Charleston, and it was the perfect spot for their destination engagement session!

We started downtown, because can you do an engagement session in Charleston without photographing the pastel buildings or cobblestone streets? The pink walls of the Wyndham Mills House Hotel are always a favorite! The couple’s Labrador retriever, Duke, was the perfect gentleman throughout our shoot and posed so nicely for a few portraits. Detailed I Do’s provided the cutest floral collar for Duke, along with Danielle’s bouquet that we used for sunset portraits.

The afternoon was stormy and cloudy, but the sun peeked through the clouds shortly after we arrived at Middleton Place. I am absolutely obsessed with this venue and can’t wait to be back for a wedding!
