What a dream day for Sam and Kyler at Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez! I have shot at Kestrel Park in every different season, and I have to say that Fall is my absolute favorite at this venue. The gardens are lush and colorful, the trees are full along the main drive and sunset is a little bit earlier so we get gorgeous light during the afternoon hours (which is when the first look and portraits are typical photographed). If you are considering a Kestrel Park Fall wedding, you will not be disappointed with an October date. But back to Sam and Kyler! This couple could not have been nicer to work with, and the wedding – designed by Vanessa Noel Events – was over-the-top gorgeous. Their faith is very important to them, so Sam and Kyler really wanted their ceremony to feel like an outdoor church, so Vanessa brought in actual church pews and custom “windows” to give the ceremony space that church feel. The reception space was beautiful as well, with lots of draping and hanging greenery to complement the rich Fall colors.
